The Three Most Important Words

This weekend I got to go to Houston and see my fiancee for the weekend. Of course, those three days were entirely too short. I had a wonderful time just being with her, talking with her, laughing with her, dancing with her, looking into her eyes, holding her, and the list goes on. When she left I was sadder than I have been in a long, long time. I hate to be away from her and the next four weeks will seem like an eternity.

This weekend I learned a lot. One of the things that I treasure is hearing and seeing Kasey say "I love you." Even when I do not feel worthy or deserving of her love, she gives it to me with all of her heart. When I am feeling down and out, nothing lifts me up like looking toward Kasey and hearing her say those three words. They let me know that she will always be there. Despite all the mistakes I make, or troubles I cause, or things I forget to do, or whatever, she will always be there beside with a forgiving heart to say "I love you." That is the greatest gift in the whole world.

So today, tell someone "I love you." They need to hear it. It cant be said too much.

World Cup Insights

1. Watching the Italy players surrounding the golden soccer trophy looked very much like Idol worship.

2. Soccer players have very strong heads. They are good at using them for both precision headers and precision head butts.

3. Who would want to run that much?

4. Someone said ending the World Cup with penalty kicks is like ending the World Series with a homerun derby. I agree. I would have loved to just see one goalie get a hand on the ball even if it still went in. You can kick the ball to the left corner, right corner, or straight at the goalie and it will go in.
